    Default Power Washers

    Quick question:

The other half and I are moving to Aus next year and everything we take with us needs to be spotless so I figured the best thing to do would be to get a power washer, which I've wanted for a while but could never justify it, and blast everything clean.

How do these things work? Does your hose fill a tank in the power washer and that water then gets blasted out or does the washer draw the water through the hose quicker? We have extremely poor water pressure so if I have to wait for a tank to fill it's not really worth it.

Also, anyone got any advice on what type / best value for money ones out there.

    Thanks in advance.

    John

With my old washer you could just put the hose in a bucket of water, It sucks up the water pressures up the water in the lance and hey presto!

I had a Karcher and the plug where you attach the hose broke. Ive now got a JCB one it is MUCH better.
ps apparently you can use a jet wash in hose pipe ban areas as they use 75% less water than tyhe hose.
