    Default Cubby hole radio fitment?

    Does anyone know or has anyone attempted to fit an aftermarket radio in the cubby hole below heater controls? Cant remove existing so im looking for alternatives, any ideas?

    I doubt you would be able to fit one there due to the shape.

    Single din fits no problem, no butchering needed Lee. I've done it myself, in fact its almost like it was made for it. If you pull out the plastic cubby a single din just slides in, all you have to do is make a surround.

    Iwas looking at the very same thing today... had the cubby hole out and there appears to be a lot of space behind so just might be able to drop my Alpine in there The surround shouldn't be too much of an issue as there's the original cubby to use for a template

    I ran a Single din DVD player in there but never made a surround so moved it.
