Exclamation Beware!!!!!! New shopping till scam.

I received an email to day telling me of another scam, this one though is a little different,so the next time you go shopping and use a card, check your receipt.
The scam works like this. When you pay for your shopping with a credit or debit card, the till operator includes a "cash back" amount, which is then passed on to an accomplice further along the queue.
This came to light when my friend was charged with a £40 cash back on her till receipt. When she questioned it she was told that they couldn't delete it,so,after a lot of arguing, she had the whole amount deleted.
Apparently this scam is now becoming widespread and seems to be finding its way to lots of other big shopping stores.Sainsburies, where this came to light, said that the usual excuse is that the machine had or is malfunctioning etc.
But to be honest, how many pensioners or other shoppers for that matter, have been conned and not been aware of it?.
The only answer to avoid being "had" is to make sure you CHECK YOUR TILL RECEIPT. FELIXX.

and after the first complaint the checkout op will be under scrutiny, All the big supermarkets have a great camera system that runs in a tube along the tills so you never know where its filming. They would soon catch the operator. As this scam needs an insider its not going to be widespread or last long. A lot of people would notice later and complain whether they spotted it at the time or not.
