Im guessing my glow plugs need to be changed becuase when i start the car in the cold it takes agers to start and blows loads of white smoke out of the exhaust. Plus iv posted the thread on here to see what other members thought and near enough everybody said Glowplugs need changing. I have not had time over the last month to change these but i think i will get them done on Saturday.
When i start the car in the morning i seem to feel like the car is not very responsive so i dont know if there is something else wrong with it. Its like the car does not go fast at all, and then when the engien seems to have been running for a while it seems to run fine. The car is a 2.0DTI im just wondering wether or not its not the glow plugs after all that is wrong, could this be the turbo on the way out :/. Or are diesles like this in a morning as it is my first diesle car.
the 2.0DTI is not exactly a fast car but i think it seems like slow altogether to be honist. Not must faster then my 1.6 Astra. Is there things that you can do to make them faster iv read about somebody cleaning something out to make it more responsive and things.
Thanks
