Siggy idle Problem

Hi guys,

strange problem this morning,

i start my car up, it's all fine idles fine. get 2-300 yards up road car is idling about 1100rpm. there is no loss of power she runs fine. If i turn my car off and on again she idles fine, if i rev her she idles fine. there are no lights on dash.
engine is 1.9 (120)

Not quite the alternator is F*****

what is going rate for local garage to fit and supply? i would do it myself but no time on hands at mo.

well it had the origonal battery on it, so if i did change the alternator at the time the batt would probably pack up a week later.
so 332 + 82 for batt, not nice before Christmas
