    Default Mobile Phone Recommendations please

    Right folks,

    Im looking for a new phone.

    My requirements:
    - I want an Andorid phone (latest version 2.2?)?
    - Its must be able to Bluetooth File Transfer (pictures, etc);
    - Internet (obviously);
    - WiFi;
    - Must be able to transfer files via USB;
    - Minimum 5mp Camera;
    - Alarm clock that works;
    - Responsive and quick;
    - GOOD BATTERY LIFE!
    - Dont really want a slide out keyboard.
    - Expandable memory to at least 16gb.

    I have been looking into the HTC Wildfire.....whats your thoughts on that? Some independent reviews would be useful from users.

    I am changing away from a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro.

    Default samsung galaxy 3

    Hi mate

    I just picked up a Galaxy 3 for me ( I work in construction ) so don't want a really expensive phone, My misses picked the Galaxy S.

    Both are great phone, we have had them for about 4 weeks and really like them. Quick to pick up and use, fast operation and both use wifi very well.

    Its a bit different to the normal Iphone crap ( my lady old phone iphone 3gs ) crap to be fair she got thru 2 of them.

    Heard great things about htc phones to, but feel and quality of screen the Galaxy S is much better.

    plus shop did deal on the two so that sealed the deal for me

    Think the HTC Desire has Android 2.2 I have the original Hero phone had no probs it is only 1.5 OS but it has all the above including expandable memory up to 16gb the new Desire leaves one standing.
    Samsung have the new Galaxy I9000. This has 5" screen and is better than the iPad it is a phone as well..

    You won't get all that and a good battery life
    I had a nokia 5800 that i was happy with,it could go on the interweb and was easy to use with a good battery life,but it kept freezing and had to be sent back a few times until they gave me a replacement
    But while waiting for it to come back,i got a htc desire,as the service engineer said htc are a really good phone,and it is good and the battery will last,if i don't use the phone.
    Phones these days have a lot on them,so they all eat into the battery quicker than the old basic phones.

    Is the HTC Desire a bigger version of the Wildfire?

    Also, I have probbaly only got about £150 to spend, depending on how much my SE sells for.

    Looks like I will probably go for a HTC Wildfire, its relatively the same price as what my X10 Mini Pro will sell for, all be it a few squids.

    The Desire and HD2 and Samsungs are way out of my budget, only really want to spend what I will get for this.

    For now, I will be reverting back to my truty old Sony Ericsson W800i !!!!

    Ive had a wildfire for around a month now. Its a great phone and ticks all your boxes apart from the battery life. If you like to mess around with it quite a lot you will be charging it every night so that it lasts the next day. Although from what ive heard this is better than others that are available.

    Mine is on 2.1 eclair i think its called but i believe all will be updated with 2.2 froyo once the networks get there fingers out.
