    Question Power Steering Fluid Change

    Anyone done this using the syringe method? I have a 100ml syringe and a good length of aquarium airline hose. Would this work?

    hi mate, this is how i did mine a couple of weeks ago, dunno if it's the right way to do it...the fluid i took out of mine was well blackened and smelly, it's fine though now

    How much of the old fluid will you be able to get out though (as in what proportion)?

    Yea wondered that too. Just wondered how much I might need to replace, didnt want to buy 4lt if I only need 2lt.

    what fluid are you replacing it with ie slick 50 ect as i was gonna give this ago but whats the best stuff to put back in.

    Was just going to put ordinary power steering fluid back in. May put a shot of the STP stuff in with it.
