    Default De-badge

This is probably something that every member of this forum already knows.....except me. I want to de-badge my vectra but I am worried about damaging my paintwork, does anyone have any tips?

i ment maguires lol its used to smooth your car after a wash, takes all the bits tht stick to the car, its brilliant stuff, you dont need to use it when you debadge it but it helps get all the sticky bits off as i was there for 45 mins when i did mine lol but i see cars all time with bits of clue left on or a ghost mark where they hvent tcut it and it looks realy bad lol

sorry just love showing my car off lol

You could also use a jug of boiled water, pour it over the letters and get stuck in with the card. But both ways work mate.

First read the "How To", the way that worked best for me was heat gun (on low) or hairdryer, then a cloth with plenty of Autoglym Tar and Bug remover on it. I tried the hot water, and WD40, that also works, and now I know how to use Clay, Meguiars or any other brand, I can see that would work also. Depends what you find easier.
