Cancelled SKY!!!!!

Things being as they are £££ wise i just cancelled my sky contract, it gets cut of in dec, does anyone know if my sky box will still work showing the free view stuff??? ive been looking at the free sat boxes today that use your existing sat dish but dont wont to buy one if my sky box will still show these channels. looking at the freesat boxes though they look good with up to 150 channels some in HD to, what would you guys do. lol anyone got freesat?? regards mitch

think your sky will play the free stuff and if you have a newish tv it will have freeveiw built in but yer the freeveiw boxs are good my sis go one loves it

You'll be able to get freesat with your sky box. Sky do a one off £25 card (well they did two years ago) which will give you loads of channels.

Got HD added to Virgin who I have phone and broadband with for £15

Nearly all our village has sky dishes as we have very bad signals through our Tv aerials i have sky freesat it was £150 installed but if you have dish and sky box you should be able to get a new card for it.

Was £25 when they started.

Was £19.99 for the full package when i first had it installed in 1993.
But far more channels on now from then.

I'll be 'down sizing' my sky channels after xmas, don't need the full package and i'll also be getting shut of HD. Not worth it.

Just keep your existing box and the card in it already becomes a freesat card automatically

I cancelled mine a few months ago and they offered it to me half price for a year. Would maybe take it if they moved the dish, but when the best advice they give you is to pay a private firm I'm not really impressed with their customer satisfaction.
