2004 vectra 3.0 v6 diesel automatic gear box

hi all i have a 2004 3,0 v6 automatic diesel vectra and i need to change a drive shaft but obviously the gear oil will come out and i cant find a oil filler or a level plug any ideas? or would this need to be performed by a vauxhall dealer as specialist tools maybe required many thanx,

I have the same car as you. Last time I changed the driveshaft, I lifted the car only in that side where the driveshaft needed to be changed. That way the gearoil runs away from the driveshaft you need to changed. But for you own sake and for not having any oil spil from the transmission. Have the new driveshaft ready so that you quickly can fit the new one as soon as the old one has come out. The gearbox holds 7,5 liters of automaticgearbox oil and there is a dipstick in the front of the gearbox.. But you need to take the frontbumper of to get to the dipstick. As far as I know the dipstick is highlight green in colour.
