here we have a kenwood 7024 with a six disc changer
ive been worried about how the single din would look, as i think the standad CD blends n really well. But looking at that i dont think it looks too bad, and that tray would be very handy. Has the sound quality improved a lot?
That looks a whole lot better than i thought it ever would! Makes me want to put my navigation back in!!
Could you get one with the stereo hole on the bottom?
yep sound is a lot better i think.plus on ebay u can get the mp3 version of that stereo for about £120-£150 now then a six disc changer for about £40-£60.steering wheel adapter is £30 but i never really use the wheel controls.if you need a hand getting any off the stuff or fitting it give us a shout.
I agree that the original looked good, but sounded erm, duff.
So did the single din mod and put in a Kenwood 7031. The sound 'Quality' difference was amazing; it really gets the woofers going and the top end is much clearer.
I added an Infinity basslink to kick the whole thing up the a*se and was surprised at how tight and low (oh, and loud) the bass was. It comes with a remote control bass level adjuster as well, which fits great in the little hole below the single din. Highly recommended! When the kids are in the back, I just turn the boost right down, which kills the sub. When i'm cruising on my own, I can pump it up without annoying anyone.

You could always use a double din unit like mine?
Not seen you on the forum for a while Paul... that looks very nice indeed... you gonna be showing it off at the next West Mids meet?
