Post Turbo delay or issue with auto gearbox?

I notice a delay when flooring the car. Is it a known issue with this type Vectra? is it the gearbox? or problem with Turbo? Or could it be a MAF sensor?

Say when you at roundabout and flooring it, there is a small delay before it kicks in and pulls away.

When does the auto gearbox oil needs to be flushed/changed? And how about the timing belt?

Car is: Vectra C from 2007 1.9 150 CDTi Elite Auto and done 60k

I found when i unplugged my egr valve that the response to acceleration was improved, and my 1.9 cdti elite auto has just hit 63k,so while it was in for a main servive at the dealers i had the auto box fliud changed for piece of mind, the timing belt i will get done with in the next 6 months,as there is no real rush if vauxhall say 10 years or 100k for timing belts on the 1.9 cdti.

I've been driving auto's fpr over 10 years now, seems to partly be autoboxes, they do seem to lag a bit. You get used to putting your foot on throttle a bit earlier. The Vec also seem to have a bit of turbo lag. Doing the airbox mod helps.

Do you really floor it? I suppose you know about the little "button" in the floor, that needs to be pushed with the pedal. Still, auto gearbox has a little lag. You'll know to kick it when you need it, over time.

basically if u push the accelerator a little furthur than all the way there is a kick down button. Although mine kicks down without the need of the button anyhow

Kickdown at a junction or roundabout pulling away, which was the OP's situation, would be fun, torque steer and wheelspin comes to mind.
You do normally need to put foot down a bit further/earlier pulling away with an auto, the Vec seems a bit more so. Nearly caught me out a few times when I first had it, coasting up to roundabout or junction, clear, so back on throttle - and nothing happens. You get used to it. As I said, the airbox mod and a K & N filter seemed to help. On mine, V power diesel smooths it out as well, but not everybody finds the same.
