    from my experience 35w hids in shark eye style headlights (ones with the glass ball) are not very good at all, however 55w are much better and will still pass an MOT.

    55w 5000k ive had 8000k and 6000k , 5000k are by far the best as i dont like the blue effect , the 5000k is the best all round very white light with the slightest tinge of blue , ive had 35w and they dont compare
