50w or 35w HID's?

just out of interest what wattage HID's do you run?

my 50w are on route to me now so is too late to change, just wondering what other have

I'm looking at investing into these and unsure on the 35w or 50w's... Dont the Signums have a seperate bulb for both dipped and main beam? So technically could you not fit two sets of HID's? 35w for the dipped and 50w for the main? ...

I doubt anyone can honestly or scienctifically answer this question as doubt many people have had both to compare. All I can say is that I have the 50w ones are they are great. Not to bright but an improvement over standard. The only thing is I would go for 4300k not 6000k next time. The 6000k have a slightly blueish tinge which is nice but makes them look less factory IMO.

Got 50W 6000k (from HIDs-Direct) in mine, but still think they are a little dull

Compared to one of friends who's got a BMW535d (xenons as standard) with theirs the start up of the bulb is sooooo quick and a hell of a lot brighter than my 50W's

I have a 55 watt, and love them. living in shetland you need the light at night. why fit the 35watt ones when the 55watt are the same money, the halogen bulbs draw 55 watt so less chance of problems.
