    Default nav, GPS on the cd70 crossed out.... help!

    my sat nav insists that im in one place all the time weather im moving or not . closer inspection i notice the GPS symbol is cross out , so i consulted the owners manual and it stated , leave the navy on for 20 to 30 mins and all sorted ..... well that is not the case at all i feel
    there is a bigger issue im hopin not , takin it to the main stealer is a last resort. can anyone help please.. thanks to all who do .

    First thing to do is pull out the head unit, and make sure that the blue GPS antenna cable is connected to the back.

    If its not, then that is your answer. There could be a break in the cable or a disconnect at the rear of the car where the antenna actually sits on the roof.

    One option to check for sure, is to see if you can get hold of a Fakra GPS antenna, plug it in the back and see if it aquires a GPS fix that way. That would then point without doubt to the internal loom.

    You're not getting a GPS signal. Could also be a problem with the GPS receiver in your aerial base.
