    Default Faulty REC module

Has anyone here heart about faulty REC modules.

Both my inner rearlights in the Tailgate (Estate) does not work at all. but reverselight anf fog light works fine.
I get the Bulb failure every time I start the car.
The rear lights on the car both works fine..

    I´ve changed:
    Bulbs
    Sockets
    wiring loom in the tailgate
    Rear clusters in both sides.
    Check for bad connection.
    Nothing works..

And after activating the electric tailgate the car nows thinks the tailgate is open when closed and closed when opened.

Is it the REC playing up...??

We have checked the wiringloom. No broken wires and no popped fuses either.

Checked all fuses in the back, in the dashboard and in the front.. No missing or broken fuses.

I will now try to change the REC module.

Is the REC module the same in all estate´s or do I have to find one with the same Ident code fx. "AR" or "AS" and so on...

I am aware of the it needs tech 2 coded to fit my toy options in the car, and it of course needs to be decoded before taken out of the bracking/spare car..

No they are not the same.. diffence in between options in the REC.. one small is eg. Lightsensor in the rainsensor.

So not sure but think "only" you need to check facelift/not facelift.. have you tried "Terminalen" to check if others fit via EPC.

No it is not programmed to the car yet.. But it sits in the car now. I will wait with the programming until I have the module in the dashboard. Then go see Michael in Horsens and let him work his magic...
