    Default Rear Fogs On Siggy

Don't hit me please.... I wasn't sure where to post this!!!

    Anyhoo...

I'm not sure (mainly because we haven't had any to test this yet)

but do Sigs have ONE or TWO foglights at the back?

Only thing I ask this is because I swear down that me 54 plater did, and me 05 doesn't (or at least the dash ain't lighting up to say it's failed)

If only has one... how can I upgrade this easily (I ain't a sparky and things tend to go foom when I get hold of them)

    Ta in advance like.

If it`s like the vec the bulb will be in the other side, just wire it across and bobs your uncle ..

They just wire the outside one up, depending on left or righthand drive, some kinda legislation says you can only have 1 on a new car, looks a lot better with 2 though thats for sure, looks a bit cockeyed with only one

    DAMN THOSE EUROPEANS!!! lol..

But that is a bit of a point.... If one is to drive oneself to Euroland.... you're on the other side of the road.... so surely from a "lighting regulation" standpoint, you could be seen as breaking the law (as it's illegal even to not carry spare bulbs)?????

More money for the Polizei/Gendarme/Carabinieri/Policia/Polis I guess (hey, get me with the lingo.... lol)

well that is interesting, I complained when I got my last Vectra Elite a few years ago as only one fog light worked yet it had bulbs for both and even the corsa had two rear fogs ... so it must be a fault ... right?? Also on the VX website at the time it stated that the Vectra had two rear fogs. The tech showed me a brand new car in the showroom to prove that only one works ... how pants!! Is it something that can be Tech2'd on does anyone know? Wouldn't pulling a wire across from one to the other do strange things to the canbus with the extra load?

The less you do to canbus the better , the reason only one fog works now , is because on the sheer ammount of window lickers that for some unknown reason have managed to acquire a driving license , the thick people might think you might be braking , hence the reason for one fog light at the rear .

Nope, it cant be tech2 enabled, on my hatch the wire in the loom was not physically there on the N/S, I ran a wire across so both lights worked.
Didn't seem to bother canbus at all, though it will effect the bulb failure checker, in that you could blow one of the rear fog bulbs and not know about it.
I haven't yet done this on the estate, though I might one day, when I can be bothered, lol.
