Brake Questions
Hi Chaps,
In need of some help here:
Will Astra VXR 322 brake setup fit on a 52 plate Vectra GSi? My son has upgraded his VXR brakes to Brembo 4 pots on his car and has offered them to me.
My Vectra currently has the 302 brakes on the front.
Any help will be appreciated,

Hi Colin ...there should be no problem putting them on as a few members have gone down that route.Hope hes giving them to you for nothing lol
Thought the gsi had 314mm brakes?

Astra calipers do not fit the Vectra without having some carriers made up.
Oh and the earlier GSis did have 302mm brakes

Not completely true...
Seems the usual "Opel Parts bin" applies to the early 3.2 (GSi, GTS, CDXi/CDX)
They'll use up what they have on hand.
My March 2003 has the 314mm setup. And thats not an upgrade offered by the stealership over here (Holden)
I will try on the Astra VXR brake kit next weekend. To be honest though. You'd be better shelling out for a Brembo/AP brake kit. They are AMAZING.
Yours isn't a really early one if it's a 2003 though. We're talking about a 1 year run with the 302's starting in 2002
Yup, they changed to 314's when the 3.0 CDTi came out.
