i never really new VAUXHALL VECTRA 2792 cc 2.8 V6 Turbo

hey all im thinking ov going back to the veccy as i used to have a 3litre v6 cdti was 182bhp or summit BUT i never new the 2.8v6 turbo pushed out a wopping 250bhp and there much cheaper than a vxr so im thinking about it i have only seen them in auto

what you peeps think i have allways loved the vec and like i say the vxr is abit to much i was just looking through autotrader and seen them i was supprised they did 250bhp thats more than enuff plus what i like is they dnt look too sporty yett when they want to play it sure wld play with 250bhp under the bonnet is there any issues with these and could i chip it

The elite spec'd 2.8T V6's are 250bhp but the VXR is 280bhp. Sure you dont want the extra power lol. Yeah you could get a remap that takes them to around the same power as a standard VXR iirc.

they are all auto i'm afraid. Unless you buy an ex police motor, they are only 250 from 2007 onwards, pre 2007 they are 230 but dont worry its still plenty to keep you interested and with a remap like mine you can get an easy 300 bhp.

Design spec'd signums are manual box's and either 230 or 250 Bhp - oh and they map to the same BHP as a mapped VXR

thats imense i think 300bhp for around 9k mark count me in iv only ever had a auto and that was a xreg bmw 3 series are the auto pretty hardy

I have a manual Signum design Rare as folk though... there was a mass of auto boxes when I bought mine!
