    Default DTUK Boxes

    Hi all,

I really miss the extra grunt my Astra G GSI had & would like a tuning box after looking at all the options.

So after looking at DTUK's site I am still unsure which box is best for me. People who have the Green box seem to say it is a massive improvement in terms of performance. However I can't really see any reviews from the Red box.

    Can anyone confirm.

To sum it up I want more power but nothing that will kill my cdti

Personally if it was my money I would go for a live map. And given your in Skipton I would be going to RS tuning in Leeds.

Obviously this is just personal opinion, but thats my 2pence worth

I have the CRD-T box, which, increases boost and fueling. I would recommen it but they are quite expensive. Noticeable improvements with less smoke can be had with box.

I have just had Mas performance today to do my remap with dpf removal and egr removal they are based in Yorkshire but do a fully mobile uk service they came bang on time he removed the ecu from my vectra then spent an hour going through the map and adjusting everything removing the dpf etc etc it all looked very very complicated an te guy knows his stuff very experienced and once done uploaded the map back to the ecu the. Fitted back to the car and wow what a difference I can't believe the power it is rapid he reckon with all my mods I am pushing about 210bhp and boy does it feel like it

Been out today and it wheel spins in 1st and 2nd when on full throttle then on private land I went from 60 to 100 in no time so smooth the power I can't explain how happy and how helpful and experienced. Cost me 250 quid all in for everything that included 60 quid fuel charge to come to my door I honestly can't tell you how quick my car is

I reccomend www.masperformance.co.uk highly recommend them excellent job and excellent guys with a vast experience

I've had tuning boxes but none of them compare to this and not a single bit of smoke either

I have tried 5 tuning boxes and maps from two different mappers, including EDS. The CRD-T give just as good a performance gain as any map I have had and better than the ERS ones. The only down sides are that the EGR operation and regeneration cycles can not be removed.

DTUK have premises on an industrial estate in Stanley Co Durham - not that far from Skipton, may be worth contacting them and ask for a test run with one of their boxes.
