All four windows down by the morning...

Hi All,

I am new to this forum so first of all I would like to say hello to everyone.

I recently bought an 05 plate Signum Elite and I really like it and it has been okay so far.
However this morning when I looked at the car I found all the windows pulled down...? It is very weird...
Is anybody has ever experienced something like this?
Is it an electrical problem?

Any input appriciated.

if you press and hold the open door button on your key it brings down the windows, could the button have been pressed by accident?

Hi,
Actually the key is hanging just behind the door with a lot of coats together as we have guests this week. It is about 3-4 meters from the car. It could be very possible.
I will go and try it now. Thanks

Yes that is what will have happened, it happened a couple of times with my Mondeo LX, which had front and rear electric windows and the same function on the remote. Ah well will only ever happen with the fronts on my SRi.

yes you have to be carefull with that feature, and no problem

You are right I have to admit, but I have two kids, I work full time, I study on university... There is not always time for that one, but I will read it I promise. :-)

if you have the auto wiper facility and you lock the car with the windows down when it starts to rain - they SHOULD close themselves as well
