CD70 Navi and iPhone connection problem

Hi to the Group,

I have just bought a second hand Vectra C with the CD70NAVI system. Everytime I connect my iPhone to the Bluetooth receiver, it stays connected for 60 seconds and then drops out/looses connection - has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?

I found that I had several hundred contacts on my iphone which did exactly the same thing, after having the phone replaced the problem was the same, putting just my regular contacts in favourites on the iPhone cured the problem, it seemed to me that the bluetooth was timing out transferring such a long list.
I had to set the blutooth settings on the iphone to sync contacts = on, phone favorites = on , recents = on, other groups = none all worked after that and has been for 6 months now.

Having just had one installed, i think the limit is 100 contacts on the phone, more than that and it throws a wobbler

No its defiantly an iphone problem, I never had any problems with all my business contacts with all my earlier Nokia.

do all cd70navi systems have this? i have this and didn't know it had BT???????

I've got a 3GS and have several hundred contacts on my iphone, all have gone across fine to the CD70. What firmware are you running on iPhone. I'm on 4.1 not sure if thats got anything to do with it.

Bluetooth is an optional extra, so not standard. If you have a little phone symbol on the tabs on the screen, then you have the module installed.

thanks for that-i 100% don't have that then.

i guess retrofit is only way forward for me then.

****** annoying that vauxhall purposely never put this on but allowed for it to be added on a 2 grand factory option at time of purchase.
