Hi guys at what mileage should a 3.2 GSI Cambelt and tensioners be changed? and roughly how much would you be looking to have it done?
Cheers Lee.

my cambelt cost £350 mate
I finally got my finger out and did mine at about 85k miles. I shouldn't have left it that long, of course but I had assumed that the dealer would have done it before I got the car. Uh uh! Not if it costs them.
It cost about £350ish for a friendly, good backstreet garage that I use near St. Albans (near where I work) to do the job, including my purchasing the kit from LMF Vauxhall - a Vectra C Club approved trader.
The mechanic showed me the belt that was removed... Yikes!
I aim to do it again in the next 12 months. It's only been two years but it's a little over 30k miles. It should be done every 40k miles, according to accumulated wisdom.
Paul
I know the V6 Vectra B was every 40k. I'd expect the C to be the same.
Had my siggy 3.2 done last month. (same engine etc)
Mine has all the tensioner rollers and belt replaced (complete kit)
Geniune Vauxhall kit.
Replaced by a company called Fenns of Lynn (blokes who owns/runs it is ex Vaux workshop manager for 14 years)
Now has his own place, was quoted £255, but took them less time so paid £228 all in!
Vaux recommend the cambelt on this engine every 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
