    Default Slave cylinder dodgy?

Am I correct in thinking that a faulty/worn slave cylinder could be the reason why the biting point on my clutch is constantly changing?

The clutch doesn't tend to slip (if you ignore the normal clutch judder problem on the early petrol models when cold), but I'm finding that the biting point varies at times.

It's the original clutch, with 73k on it so it's a little worn, biting point is usually where I expect it, about half way up. Oddly, sometimes it seems to bite lower, or higher than that...

Slave cylinder problem? I've heard a few people on here talk about replacing them

Ok, I might have confused myself...

Just looked at a few other posts, seems the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder are 2 separate things... Am I right?!

Yes the master cylinder is close to the clutch pedal and the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing
