Auto rear level control on vectra wagon

Hello! I wont to mount automatic level control on my vectra wagon. Is it just to change to another shock-absorber? I have heard its the same shock that was in vectra B with everything integrate. Someone did this?

Ive put in Opels self leveling suspension if thats what you mean? that is just 2 new shock asorbers.. but they are quite expencive.. if priced anything near as Denmark.. you are looking at 3700 DKK + VAT each...

Remember they will rise your car with about 2-2½ cm in the back..

but they are quite easy to replace.. E18 and E20 takes about 20 minutes.. (if the bolts want to give away).

But you can get those shocks cheaper in the UK.. even with post i came in about 4500 incl. VAT and postage to Denmark..


Ohhhh can you get a BCM cheap for me ... need one for a project .

If you are planing to use those shocks for putting in Xenon, i have not been abel to get a reply from Opel Denmark, regarding if they live up to the ECE rules about leveling.. (if you can get them then )

Thansk for info. I will check price in UK and home before I buy them. My car have standard xenon with AFL so its no problem. I tow caravan in the sommer and trailer for my snowmobile at the winther, så I think it will be nice with this self - level system.
On cars with xenenon its a sensor in the front and in the back for adjusting the light, so I dont think its enough to mount this system .

I always fancied self leveling. So do I lower the car and concentrate onthe handling or except its an estate and therefor a work horse and fit these? Will have to get some UK prices.

the selflevelings suspension is not ment to be on a lowerd car.. (of course they can) but it will still sit about 2-2½ cm higher at all times. but if you dont use it as a work horse its not neede.. i put mine is as i moving all kind of stuff from time to time, also when going on holliday, it still stands correct even fullyloaded.

I changed my springs to normal on the rear, and selfleveling suspension and fron the SRI springs (for Z22YH with autobox, not the correct should have been without autobox).. and Bilstein b4.

Its quite high but got the rear end standing up, so i can put my hole hand in.. from tyre to arch is about 10 CM and on front about 8cm.. (the front was also about 8 before the change), but when running in the woods dont want to be to low... the car have tryed to scrape the body underneath more than once....

Sorry to jump in here but.... do the vec hatch and estate have the same shocks?

With using the vec for towing these shocks would really benefit me

Also if I am not mistaken it would also allow me to fit xenons without auto level control wouldn't it?
