    Default Front Shocks

    Hi all,

Possibly looking at changing my passenger front shock to see if it cures my Knocking problem that has reared its ugly head again, I was wondering - should I be replace both fronts at the same time? (only one is knocking) are all the shocks the same across the Vec/Signum range? I did think about fitting some Bilstien B4's and eibach springs but finance is not permitting at the moment. Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

    Howard

B4's will be cheaper than Vx shocks.

Ideally i'd want to change to B4's but with spring i'm looking at about £300+ without fitting so I was just thinking about do the fronts at the mo. Finances are tight up to christmas.

If one's gone the other has to be on notice - why change the springs though before they need doing?
It's my intention to fit eibach and B4's, but I can't afford to do it unless the old ones need changing, so that's my plan.

changed drop link on that side and still knocking. Car has been into garage i trust and they said the only thing they can find is slight play in the shock. Really i only want to replace the one shock that is knocking. The other side there is no noise at all, i'm just asking if i have to change both at the same time and if all the shocks are the same for the siggys. If i do have to replace both fronts would it work if i had b4's on front and standard on back?
