    Default Which Browser?

Just curious about which browser you are all using. I used to use IE, but in recent versions the interface has been just a mess. I have also tried Chrome and Safari, and struggle to find even core functions in their interface. Opera is not bad, but for me, it has to be Firefox.

When my pc was working I used firefox then chrome but i've been using my mobile for almost a year and have Opera mini 5, makes mobile browsing easier than the built in rubbish.

Interesting, I have tried Opera Mobile on my Nokia N97, my current BlackBerry and my iPod Touch. Don't really rate it. It seems very slow compared with the built in browsers. On my BlackBerry it renders pages better than the RIM program, but is slow and has frozen the phone a couple of times.

Chrome for me.. I just prefer the way that it works, and the simple extras that are all together in it!

For example, just typing in the address bar will take you to google (or your preferred search engine). The ability to move tabs to half windows for easy comparisons (found this especially useful when comparing cars recently lol).

Tabs to half windows is a great feature, but I just find the Chrome interface to be too minimalist. Firefox has an interface closest to how browsers were in the beginning, and therefore what I am used to. First tiime I downloaded it I was able to use it straight off, whereas with Chrome or Apple Safari, I had to fiddle with them to work out how to do even basic functions. Chrome is quick however once you have got the hang of it. Must admit I am not a fan of Google as a company which colours my view of the browser.

You see, I really like the minimalistic approach that google have taken.

I used to use firefox, and loved it! After trying chrome, I just don't want to go back! I use a lot of keyboard short cuts which may make my life a bit easier I suppose!

As FF and Chrome work similarly, maybe its just an aesthetics thing?

I was having issues with Firefox crashing and moved to Chrome. I find it faster easier and have stuck with it for about a year now.

I thought it was Chrome and Safari that work similarly?? Not Firefox.

I started with IE, then got fed up with the problems and tried Firefox, which I'm still using. Not sure about Chrome, never tried it, and a friend who was in IT for 20 years told me to leave it alone with my set up. Firefox has had more problems lately but I'm sticking with it for now.
