think the clutch is dependent on dealers the first time i had my dmf changed they wanted me to pay for the clutch (which i didn't) the second time only 6 months later at a different dealer they did both under warranty ..... which makes me think first dealer was at it ....... so it might be worth a call to vx customer services

Mine was done under warranty and was the full kit, DMF, Clutch & slave at 34K miles on an 07 car just before warranty ran out.

Even if they do want to charge you for a clutch it's hardly any extra labour charge is it? It's an extra 6 bolts?

Yes agree just pay for the part but do find out first how much a kit costs before you ask them for there quote, ie ask another dealer.

Think its totally delaer dependant.....had mine changed twice within 6-weeks and never paid a penny....all down to the service staff wanting to hit their monthly targets maybe?
