    Default Clean cdti inlet!

Read this & make your mind up!, Your cdti is sucking oil BIG time!, Vauxhall have unfortunatlly left you with an engine that actually SUCKS oil from your sump & DUMPS it into your inlet sysem!, This will leave you with engine oil in the intercooler (BAD!) & THEREFORE SUCKING IT INTO YOUR INLET MANIFOLD!. have a peep at this NEW mod!.

I wasn't into the oil catch thing m8 but you are deffo right. I have a CDTI 150 at 123k and it looks as if someone is taking my boost hose off and pouring used oil into the inlet manifold.

Boost hose even has a film of oil all around it.

I'm in the West of Scotland m8.

You must be near Birmingham I take it? In the near future it is something hopefully I will be doing so it may involve a trip.

Thats 'OLD HAT with me & the cdti!, Ive done around 1600 miles with NO oil getting into the intercooler & inlet manifold, Its all down to 'venting to atmos',Therefore proving the oil has been sucked into the system via the over jealous 'sucking ation' from the intercooler!, Ive hopefully made a great step forward with this & will seek further improvements to aide development of the cdti breathing! / crap messy inlet system!.

It's just knowing what pipe to remove and redirect to the catcher.
