Mtec 501's are what most go for. Or you could fit led's, but you'll get bulb error and/or strobing unless you wire them through a relay or to the dash illumination wire (grey/yellow) and leave the standard 501 tucked away.

You can get them from HID's Direct. They're on eBay,or you can phone them on:0161 793 9236 to order them.Although some of the members have been having problems with them re their HID kits, the MTEC 501's are very good and compliment the HID light very well.
You wont be disappointed, believe me. FELIXX.

I just bought a set of Led canbus error free 501's off of ebay and fitted them this afternoon as i had an bulb out. Didnt get any error codes on my 04 sri but they are strobing alternatly for about 5 - 10 seconds after the car is switched off. Doesnt seem to be strobing while driving as i sat in front of a window for 5 mins to check.

I had MTEC ones fitted but these are way way whiter so i will live with the strobing until i get a chance next week or sunday to try sorting it.

the strobing alternatly for about 5 - 10 seconds after the car is switched off, if i am correct is just the cars black box doing a pulse bulb chk m8, shouldnt be an issue and to the untrained eye probabley looks like an alarm switching on .lol

    Default Brighter whiter sidelights

I put some PIAA extreme white bulbs in mine, they look very white and would match HID's and are brighter than standard but only a bit brighter. I eventually found some 10 watt halogens and am fitting those because even though they are a bit yellow are so much brighter.

The strobing seems to happen when the engine is running as well which worries me if it was happening when driving. I dont want to get rid as they are suuuuperb and i would love to get a set for my number plates and ideally interior lights but thats a way off when i get round the strobing issue.

    Ps sorry for hijack
