VXR diffuser and other bits done.

Been a very busy day today working on the Veccie.
First job of the day was to fit my VXR diffuser that had just come back from being painted (decided to get done in anthracite) , the old one came off pretty easy with a bit of pulling but the new one was a bit harder to fit. Apart from a few issues (1 being that my exhausts are touching the diffuser at the top, 2 being the catches at the bottom snapped off and 3 being no holes at either end for the plastic rivets) it's on.
Second on the agenda was the heatshield on the wheel well that had corroded through the nuts, cleaned the threads and nuts up and a quick spray of WD40 i then tried to undo the nuts but the threads snapped as they were too rusty. Nevermind a quick visit to to local motor factors for some steel epoxy and its now not going anywhere.
Last week i got round to fitting my show plates but due to the numbers and letters being a little thinner than allowed i got pulled by the rozzers on Monday so they will probably be coming back off.

To finish off as the car was pretty filthy i spent about 3 hours polishing with me Showroom Shine.
