advice need please

just took the vectra for its mot and it failed on offside rear upper radius arm has to much play in it he said its the outer bush how much is this to replace and is it a job that can be done by my self

The arms are about £20 - £30 from a motor factors and if your handy with the spanners take about 30 - 45 mins each side. You'll need some long extensions to reach over the exhaust and also push some rag in the holes that are handily placed to catch the nut when you drop it

Have a look in the How2 section, there is a how2 for changing the rear upper control arms. 2 job i'll be undertaking in the next few day.
