Finally got my Vectra C!!!

Well, went down to Wimbledon this morning, and ended up buying the car I had been looking at online!

It's a 2008MY 08 plate 1.8VVT Design 5dr Hatch in Star Silver

Since I know the rules, a few quick pics below (I would have been back whilst it was still light, except my sat nav thought it would be funny to take me back through the middle of London! so I've been via Harrods, Harvey Nics, Lords Cricket Ground, Swiss Cottage - you name it!

will obviously take some better ones once it's light (and not raining!)

Looks as though you've done well there, nice one! The photos don't do it any justice at all though - it'll be good to see some better ones.

Hope the engine holds together, the 1.8 vvt motor has top end issues, if you suspect any tapping get it to the Dealer fast.

i love my vvt mate, mine is knocking but from down somewhere low like an exhaust

if the sat nav brought you back that way do you have to pay CC not sure but thought edgware rd, park lane,round by the cricket ground and through was free might be wrong though (prepare for barrage of no's)

My employers had a fleet of 30 vvt exclusiv 07 and 57 plate vectras at one time and apart form normal service items next to nothing went wrong on them, mileages after 36 months ranged from 70k to 120k and these cars got no special treatment. Mine has crossed europe countless times, done track days, been to the rev limiter almost everyday, even spent a day at the nurburgring, been held flat out for miles, now on 115k and still runs and sounds like new, infact i liked it so much i bought it off the lease company, total maintenance outside of the usual services is a thermostat. Enjoy your car !
