    Default dmf repair question

ok another dmf question mines has gone n clutch stuck on floor so took it to the garage tonite n boy was say because the clutch is on the floor some other thing may have went too I'm not want ripped off cos as u know it's costing enough as it is but he was saying something about a thing attached to slave cylinder n it breaks n all the clutch fluid comes out. he also said if it had gone it would be another £120-£150 to replace it so if any 1 has any idea what he's talking about any info would be really appreciated. i dont know too much about clutches and as I said I don't like to be ripped off thanks in advance

It is the recommended route to do the DMF, the clutch and the slave cylinder all at the same time, so it sounds as though it has gone alright from that description!

well the clutchies on these ******s are hydrilic because they would be to heavy(so i guess the cylinder you were talking about sound as if its burst or somin), i had a 1.5 dci it was quite heavy so u could imagine the bigger engine would be much heavyer
