HU with Factory Screen Intergration

Hi chaps,

I have been mooting this over for a while now, and wondering if anyone on here might be able to shed a bit of light...

Do you know of any headunits (double din) on the market which offer intergration with the Factory CID and steering wheel controls installed in my Vectra C (2006)?

My research brings up a possible, that being the Alpine S900R. Having said that, its pretty sketchy as to what will be displayed on the factory CID. A bit on the pricey side to just show radio stations!

I am prepared to pay good money for the right installation, but want to make as much use of the CID as possible (Radio Stations, CD Info, IPod info handsfree info etc)

I think i am barking up a tree which has yet to be planted... but you never know who on here might have seen first hand an option which might fit my needs.

I had hoped that the Denison Gateway 5 might be an option, and use it alongside my CD70, but the only optioin is the Ice Link which is not really what i want.

Any ideas?

My Alpine IVA-W505R integrates with both the steering controls and factory screen, but I think it's only on half-can cars not full can which yours will be.

It was pricey to buy too, the headunit was £700 and the adpator for the screen/steering controls was just under £100.

Doesn't really help you I'm afraid beyond showing that it's certainly possible, although as I say, not sure with a full-can system.
