    Exclamation Indicator fault

I'm having problems with my indicators. about 50% of the time my indicators cancel on thier own with out turning the wheel or some times just as I begin to turn the wheel. I've had the car back to vauxhall 5 times with this and they say they can't fault it. they must be blind this happens on every jorney I make.

Every time I get it back they try to lecture me on the indicator stalk how it needs to be put all the way down or all the way up to stay on. That is not the problem though I am making sure that is what I'm doing and they still canel on thier own.

Has anyone else had this problem and had it fixed by the dealers??

I also had the same issue, dealership reckoned the angle sensor was too sensitive
However a few months later the CIM was replaced and the issue disappeared...

As your car is a 2002 I would just put up with it, something will fail eventually and you can then either replace the angle sensor and/or CIM

Equally, try removing the indicator stalk blowing the connectors clean then retest

I had a black 2007 SRi before this one and that had the same problem. after many visits to the dealer they finally replaced the sim and the problem was solved. I'm gonna go back one more time and state that I want the problem sorted, I wouldn't go back 6 times for nothing haha! If they have none of it then I'll write to vauxhall and complain I think.
