engine types
I've been looking on the internet for a timing chain kit for my 04 2.2 direct vectra,all the kits I have found refer to engine numbers z22se or z22yh.
My car pass says z22yg, I understand the z22se is the non direct but are the z22yh and z22yg the same engine.

mine is z22yh might be a typo ask main dealer
if you have a 04 22 direct youve got a z22yh ...no idea where z22yg comes from
Yes I agree must be a typo. I'm still not sure it is the chain making the noise or not yet. My local garage said they thought it was the alternator belt tensioner or the alternator bearings. Its more of ticking/whirring noise than a rattling noise.I dont fancy paying main dealer prices but I may have to. thanks again
would think someone here might be able to help on here might involve a few miles but got to be cheaper than main dealer
