Hi
If I get an SRi rear bumper and take the diffuser/insert bit out of it, and then get a VXR diffuser to put in, will that give me a VXR rear end? I already have the boot spoiler.
Thank you

The lip of the VXR rear bumper is different, ie it is slightly flared and more so at the wheel arches (hence why you can't fit the moulded mud flaps).

Nearly! you need to get the add-on skirt which also wraps around the lower part of whole rear bumper
Okay, thanks for that, if I need to buy the lip as well am I able to keep my current bumper? I have an Elite at the moment, it is just the standard bumper with parking sensors and it has no exits for the exhausts, just a body coloured skirt at the back. The exhaust pipes are tucked under the car.
Damn I'm confused
I suppose the easiest thing to do would be to wait to find a VXR that's breaking and get the bumper off it?
If you have the Elite bumper (the exhaust will be hidden behind it) you will need an SRI bumper. The VXR has the same bumper but the lip (bottom part of the bumer is different to the SRI). If you get an SRI bumper all you will need to look out for is the VXR rear lip part.

Gazza, thanks for bearing with me on this one while I try to understand.
So. If I get an SRi bumper (of which there are loads) all I need is to get one of these to go with it:

and get it painted/fitted, and I will have a VXR rear end?
Yeah, you will have the VXR diffuser it will fit fine, but the bottom part of the bumper on the SRI is different to the VXR so the car will be very slightly different to the VXR one.

Thanks Gazza, do you reckon it will look okay if I did that?
