    Default Painted or not?

I have recently bought a Vec GSI 03 plate and it has the standard wheels on it, i was thinking of just getting the wheels refurbed and painted black, as i have a silver car. what does everyone think?

or should it be aftermarket wheels?

I think black wheels on any car spoils the car and dark silver/grey wheels just looks like they havn't been washed for a long time.

    My sentiments exactly.

And when the car is being driven it looks like steel wheels without hub caps lol

I do like them being a dark grey, hides the brake dust.

With those wheels though I don't think they'd suit it. Either refurb in the original colour or see what inspires you on www.wheel-whores.com

But black wheels with the outer part polished or chrome would look nice on your silver car Lee

Thing is, when you see a pre facelift with them wheels on you know not to play with it (well not on the straights ) Aftermarket wheels could just be a 1.8...............

How does powder coating stand up to tyre changes... Fancy it doing to mine, but the place that does it doesn't change the tyres for you... I can see the inevitable happening
