looks like a fatty has been using it.

Yes to both, but the shape of the seats do tend to mean the ridges at the sides get worn quite quickly. I have seen this in Octavia vRS seats.

Yup, the 18" snowflakes are the standards on the Astra and Vectra VXR's. The 19" wheels are an optional upgrade...

Could be wrong but I think the vxr's come with 19" wheels, no doubt someone on hear will correct me if I am wrong!! I'm sure if its being sold as a 2.8 T then it will be a vxr.
As for the seats, I think it all depends who has been driving it as to how long they will stay in good condition, eg. if the previous driver does long motorway runs with few stops, climbing in and out, then the seats will last longer than if its been driven by a pizza delivery person!! Catch my drift?
I bought my 56 plate design (half leather) with 80k on it and the seats are still pristine. Just the luck of the draw!!
the seats look very worn for 47k my car has 77k and not as bed as that although mines not a vxr but it is half leather

Seats do look worn -the leather one on my 2004 Elite looks better than that, even after having my weight on it for the last 42,000 miles, and I varied from 19 to 16 stone in that time.
