Need a wee photo pointer to ewhere my EGR Valve is...

Afternoon guys....

Having the age old shuddering when trying to accelerate from stop or slow etc, been told its the EGR Valve, so instead of forking out a small fortune for a new one i figured i would get one from the scrappies and change it to see if it makes a difference.... Had a quick scan at lunch time there and cannot see where it belongs....

Could someone with knowledge of a Vectra 2003 1.8 petrol help out, a photo pointing would be more than helpful.... Feeling a bit stupid at my lack of knowledge here...

Dont quote me, pretty sure its, as you look at the engine, from the front - its on the bottom right corner. Hope you find it, it will looks similar to this :

Hi Mark, thanks for the location, will have a look... Already got the EGR valve, it arrived today, just need to find out where to stick the bad boy...... Cheers..

lol, thinks thats right. Ive been looking on google images but cant seem to find a picture of the Vec C 1.8, only B's but think the late 1.8 B and the early 1.8 C are the same so it should be in the same place. Good luck and hope it solves the prob!

OK while doing my Thermostat today I took a pick of where im sure the EGR valve should be on the 1.8 Z18XE, pre 2004. Mine does not have one as it is a 2004 model, HTH.
