Door switch gone?

I have a vectra 2.0dti hatch (2003) and today my cruise control started working after i fitted the spring upgrade kit. However, now that the CC is working my rear offside door is telling me it's open, when it's not.

I presume the switch may have gone?

Is there anything i could do to test or to try and make it work again before buying a new switch?

Try adjusting the catch on the C pillar mate. Just undo the bolts a little and move it a mm at a time.

I dont know whether it was me moving the latch slightly, or the wd40 i sprayed into the lock, but it's working again now!

Finally a car that does everything i ask....
