Nope, the UK forgot how to drive in the winter last year leading to an increase in accidents. Of course you know who the insurers pass those costs onto
thats maybe the case
maybe that explains why the 4 x 4 we have has actually stayed pretty much the same....albeit more expensive than the vec
I'm just amazed it can go up 50% , i'm glad i'm not a teenager, i heard on the radio the other day that some youngster was paying £22000 to insure a Jag......the world surely has gone crazy.....
i dearly hope the insurance companies are not rebuilding profits post the banking crisis????????? who know??? do we have any moles in insurance companies?
Have you shopped around? I rarely renew insurance as with the exception of 2 years in my 24 years for driving, I have been able to get significantly better quotes from a different company. I renew in March and I dread to think what it will cost. The Vectra is a higher insurance group than the Mondeo I had last March, and the cost increases will have worked through the system. N. Ireland is also the most expensive part of the UK for insurance and with the least choice available . Rip off merchants.
yes
i've wrung the neck off the meerkat
tweeked the moustache off the singing comparator
firmly kicked the red telephone with wheels into touch
they all come up with pretty much the same
it feels like a cartel to be honest, price fixing maybe????......does anyone else think similarly?
does seem stupidly high - a diesel hatchback for a 38 yr old, no accidents or convictions, full no claims and i'm £430. Gone up loads. If they had to compete hard for the business it would be a different story.
I know of people who work for AXA and their bonuses are similar to that of bankers - THAT'S where your money is going folks. It's disgusting that people who do the real jobs that deserve bonus (nurse / firemen - maybe the odd copper) don't get it, just the self financing filth who effectively now run the country.
My renewal came through.... £1185 fully comp! :|
25 / 4 years no claims / Lancashire
