My summer drive :)

Well thought i'd share with you some pics of my summer drive. He's gone into hibernation now for the winter, i'll be sure to wake him about mid march time.

It wasn't totally from scratch, but it was in a bad way when i got him. lots of welding, new front end. I''ve got a bit of work to do with the wings, as you can see they dont sit flush with the front and rear valance, and i'm gonna rip out all the electrics and replace with all new wiring. something to keep me busy over the winter months. Also got an old RS turbo interior to chop and fit, so some nice recaro's in the front.

Heres the new engine, went from a 1300cc to a 1641cc twin kardon carb, for a little extra grunt

He's low, especially with the exhaust pipe sitting under the rear valance, cannot have any rear passengers as it bottoms out with every little bump, even without rear passengers any type of speed bump is a no no

Thats an awesome motor mate I don't blame for putting it away for the winter, don't want the tin worm to spoil it now. Great build to mate.
