turbo or split hose??

hi guys. my siggy has recently started makin a lous kind of hissing noise under load,and is down on power which is quite noticable. the noise seems to be coming from the turbo area. there is clear signs of soot and a strong smell of it. you can also see it appearing when the engine is revved but really cant see where it is coming from. had a real good look but cant see any split hoses. it hisses on tickover too. any ideas?

If you can't see any holes check the pipe joins mate.. thats where mine was, although my engine is different..

get someone to hold the revs down on boost while you have a good look round, any leaks will then be easily spotted
