side lights

hi guys im not sure if this is a problem or not but ive just fitted some ice white side lights and now when i lock my car up the side lights flash for about 1 minute as though it is flashing with my alarm. has anyone else noticed this or knows what this might be?

If they are LED,s as said above, then Yes you can expect them to flash. The Canbus system on the Vectra doesn,t seem to like them.

Hi mate

I fitted them on my Signum 06 facelift, Led,s error free. All went well until i was all done noticed them flashing with all the power off.

ended up swapping them for super white normal 501, the guys at hid direct were good as gold.

All led's flash even if there the £10 canbus ones.

The bulb check system is still present even if there's no warning on the dash...

no not led's there just ice white bulbs my brother gave me them.

They must be some low powered ones or something then? Thats the only reason LED's flash. From the small blip of power from the check system...

is there any way i can get the bulb light off on my dash and the warning on my centre console cos its come on since changing my bulbs?

Other then changing the bulbs back. I'm not sure, cant see it being a tech 2 option?!?
