    Default Ford KA Sport

I was following the wife home this evening. I met up with her as she had to work. After the Cosford meet I went to "walk her home" so to speak.
She drives a Ford KA Sport(her choice). I noticed that the rear reflectors ( rather large ones on the KA Sport) either side of the number plate, they looked odd, did not reflect my headlights. Then I noticed............. They were full of Water I could see it slopping around when the car moved. Don,t know how it got there other than the fact thay can not be sealed very well.
Whe we got home I removed them and drilled a small hole at the bottom ( at the back so it would not be seen from the front) and one at the top (to let the air in). This drained the water out. Hopefully if any more water gets in then it will run out.
Nice to know that Vauxhall are not the only ones to have "strange" things go wrong with them.
I wonder if it is an MOT failure to have "duff" reflectors??.

lol at the water cooling Ed .... again a common fault on several models for FORD they advise that the water should go with 10 monutes normal use ....but ive never seen a tail light bulb evaporate over an inch of standing water in my life
