Heard from a US penpal on "fast cars", apparently some joker tried strapping the jet assist rockets on his car, found a straight stretch of road, then lit them up. Police found skid marks where his transmission couldn't cope for several hundred yards, then nothing, and no car. They later found it further along the side of the road, a couple of hundred yards high, embedded in a cliff face, where it landed after leaving the road............
