ebay buyer not paid /collected

sold my motor bike on ebay on the 26/11/10 ,the bloke said he was collecting and paying cash on the 27/11 . rang and said he was to busy. arranged for the 4/12. cut a story short he still as not paid /collected. opened a case against him 19/12 closed it 25/12 still no payment. readvertized bike , question - can a seller give negative feedback to a buyer for none payment/collection ? anyone had this ?

Under normal circumstances the seller can't give negative feedback to a buyer (which helps buyers give honest feedback without fear of reprisal), don't know if it's different in a non-paying scenario though.

i opened a non payment the other day, then the buyer suddenly paid, but i now have to leave him positive feedback, even though it took him 4 weeks to pay up, so i will leave positive, but with a negative comment saying slow to pay or something

Don't leave him any feedback if you don't want to.

Open a non payment claim with Ebay and claim your listing fee's and final fee's back.

4 weeks to pay is ridiculous
I allow 3 days then send a reminder, limited to 7 days; never had any issues with that

As above, you do not have to leave positive feedback
You could leave neutral, "no comment left, contact seller for details for not leaving positive"

as a seller you can leave positive feedback or nothing at all if payment is received,
leaving positive with a negative comment is the best choice, as no feedback will mean other ebayers will know nothing of their inability to pay,
