CD70 Navi Screen has gone totally black - please help

Sorry guys but I have searched the forum but not found my answer so I apologize if the answer is already posted somewhere however here goes:-

My Vectra C 2004 3.2 Elite Colour Sat Nav screen has just gone totally black!!
The radio/cd player still works.
The Climate Control still works.
But there is just nothing on the colour screen - just completely BLACK.

Whats wrong with it? and what are my options?

Try an diagnose (Tech2 or Op-COm) for "see" if is on the bus or not. Also try to disconnect the battery for at least 10 seconds.
If still not works maybe it is not lighted (very frequent trouble).
